INDIA FESTIVAL-2008

Dear Friends:

It is the India Festival Time again. Every year, the India Festival Team has been working hard to create a bigger and better festival. I would like to invite you all to participate in these efforts.

If you wish to be a part of the India Festival team: than send e- mail to vikasg61@gmail. com.

Also, write your area of interest e.g. Magazine, stalls, hall management, competition teams or anything as needed (general help). High school students can join for community service hours too.

For Competition participation, Booth and advertisement: Please go to gujaratisamaj. org then to India Festival. We also, request your participation in our India Festival/ Samaj Book. See information below.

If you wish to have your child in a competing team or if you can choreograph: please send e mail to Dancegarba@yahoo. com. Please write age of participant and your area of preference (Hillsborough/ Pinellas or either).

India Festival/GSTB book Competitions 2008

All GSTB members and their family members are eligible. The decision of Editorial committee is final.

Color Photograph competition:

Topic: ‘Beautiful places in India ’.

You can send their best pictures taken while visiting India . Members can send up to 4 picture per family. Top 3 most beautiful photos will be selected and may be included in the book with your name.

Children Article competition:

Children aged 14 to 22, can send their articles about their “Visit to India ”. Entries are limited to one per child. Top 4 articles may be published in the India Festival book. Document should be no more than 400 words.

Achievement Report:

If a member or family of GSTB has made an outstanding achievement in Tampa Bay area recently, and if they are ready to inform to us about it, they may send a write up (and a picture if applicable). Top 3 achievers may be included in the book. Document should be no more than 400 words.

General Article writing:

You can send articles written or compiled by you about interesting topics. Document should be no more than 400 words.

Deadline for all entries: October 10th, 2008 . Send the entries only by e-mail with attached files to Nimisha chheda, nimi.chh@gmail. com

Also, encourage all your friends in other cities to participate in competitions &/or visit the festival.
